The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative that provides funding and support for people with a permanent and significant disability. If you or your child has an NDIS plan, Cosmic Care can be engaged as a registered provider to deliver support services funded under your plan.

We currently provide services across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the broader Hunter Region in New South Wales. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, get in touch and we'll let you know.

We specialise in complex behaviour support for people of all ages from 3 up, particularly those with autism, intellectual disability, and significant behaviour needs. Our deepest experience is in early intervention for children and young people. This is our niche and where we do our best work, but we welcome conversations about any participant who may benefit from our approach.

You can refer a participant through our website in under 30 seconds using the referral form, or by contacting us directly on 0493 596 161. We work with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to make the referral process as straightforward as possible.

Every support worker who enters your home has been specifically trained for your participant, not just orientated to Cosmic Care. We convert clinical materials from allied health professionals into practical, participant-specific training resources so our team knows exactly what to expect and how to respond.

We collect comprehensive data across every shift: behaviours, interventions, outcomes, and trends. That data is turned into clear, structured reports that are genuinely useful for plan reviews, NDIS evidence packages, and ongoing goal monitoring.
